Lyric Typography

As my first assignment for COMCM501 (Design Strategy & Software), we were assigned to format lyrics in two different layouts: one valuing legibility and the other valuing emotion and feeling. I chose the song Angel by Keshi and imagined it as a typed letter from a older time period, heavily leaning into a typewriter-like font. For the second layout, I wanted to play into how the song sounds, from a whisper into a scream as the writer begins to spiral and crash out.
